St Nicolas is an ancient parish church, which is open to change but also values the traditional. As a result there is a careful balance between the use of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer and the newer Common Worship services. The formal services of Holy Communion and Morning Prayer are complemented by less formal Family Services.
St Nicolas' Church is normally open for prayer, refreshments or to explore, on weekdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Services are held at 11:15 am every Sunday, and Holy Communion in alternate months at 8 am. For up-to-date information, see the calendar.
